The Department of Microbiology, Boston University School of Medicine, is seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic full-time educator for a position at the Assistant Professor level, available immediately. Outstanding candidates may be considered for an Associate Professor position. Minimum qualifications include PhD or equivalent degree in microbiology or a closely related field. The successful candidate will employ innovative teaching modalities for a diverse student population for excellence in teaching and development of educational scholarship. The Department of Microbiology is a vibrant and highly interactive faculty who value excellence and collaboration in their scholarship. Responsibilities of the Educator Faculty Position will include leadership and collaboration with other educators, teaching, curriculum development and instructional design, and student advising in the integrated medical curriculum, as well directing and teaching in the Dental Microbiology and Immunology course.
