Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (known as Fermilab) seeks highly qualified candidates for one Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Neutrino Division and the Theoretical Physics Department. The selected candidate is expected to conduct their primary research on modeling and simulating neutrino-nucleus scattering events using state-of-the-art theoretical models.
Fermilab has a strong and exciting research program with major commitments to a diverse range of neutrino experiments including MicroBooNE, MINERvA, SBND, ICARUS, NOvA, and DUNE. The Theoretical Physics Department research program includes neutrino physics, perturbative QCD, lattice QCD, Higgs and flavor physics, collider phenomenology, and physics beyond the standard model. Additional information on the Fermilab neutrino program can be found here: http://neutrinophysics.fnal.gov/.
