The particular interest is in the topological effects in condensed matter physics. More specifically the subjects are related to
- Non – dissipative transport (quantum Hall effect, chiral separation effect, chiral vortical effect etc)
- Weyl and Dirac semimetals
- Chiral magnetic effect and magnetoresistance in topological semimetals
Experience in quantum condensed matter is a preference.
The applicants will have the opportunity to interact with the other theorists of the physics Department of Ariel University including M.Lewkowicz, A.Klein (condensed matter), S.Bondarenko (perturbative QCD), I.Ben-Dayan (cosmology), A.Prygarin (mathematical physics), A.Kashi, L.Tal-Or (astrophysics), M.Schiffer (quantum black holes).
Candidates with a PhD in Physics and with expertise in the theoretical physics are encouraged to send their application including:
–a Curriculum Vitae
–a list of publications
–a research statement
by e-mail to: mikhailzu@ariel.ac.il and Zubkov.mike@gmail.com with the subject: Application Postdoc
Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
To consider the application, at least three letters of recommendation are required, to be sent by e-mail to: mikhailzu@ariel.ac.il with the subject: Recommendation Postdoc, name of candidate.
