The Brandeis Computer Science has an opening for a postdoc fellow to join the NSF GlycoMIP research team (https://glycomip.org/). GlycoMIP is an NSF-funded Materials Innovation Platform ($23 million) that tackles the scientific and technological bottlenecks in glycomaterials research. This position is responsible for developing machine learning techniques for structure analysis of glycomaterials using MS/MS and NMR, and should work closely with other team members of GlycoMIP. 

The ideal candidate would be well knowledgeable in machine learning and deep learning, experienced in performing large-scale data analyses, proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., in Python), and hold a PhD in computer science, applied math, biophysics/physics, theoretical or computational chemistry, or a related field. 

Start Date: As soon as August 1st 2021.
