The Ben-Dayan group of The Physics Department of Ariel University, Israel, invites applications for a two year postdoctoral research position, extendable to an additional year contingent on funding and productivity. The starting date is in the fall of 2021 and is negotiable. The group is also part of the AGASS center (Astrophysics, Geophysics and Space Sciences) of the university. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Physics, and should have research experience in at least one of the topics: Cosmology, High Energy Theory, Particle Phenomenology, Statistical Physics or closely related field broadly defined. The postdoc will join the efforts of the research group and can also pursue his own research.

The applicant will have the opportunity to interact with the other theorists of the physics Department of Ariel University including V. Belavin, M. Zubkov (field theory), A. Klein (condensed matter), S. Bondarenko (perturbative QCD), A. Prygarin, G. Weinstein (mathematical physics), A. Kashi, L. Tal-Or, D. Guetta (astrophysics) and M.Schiffer (quantum black holes).
