The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College is seeking a Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) starting fall 2021.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will teach and strengthen courses in our human resource management concentration. The candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate instruction including on-campus, hybrid and online modalities. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and interest in developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in the areas of Compensation/Rewards, HR Analytics, Strategic HRM, and/or Negotiation and Conflict Resolution as well as classes that fulfill department needs. The successful candidate is also expected to conduct scholastic works and contribute to professional communities, advise and mentor students, and serve on faculty committees. The Girard School of Business has approximately 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students and offers a BSBA degree with ten concentrations, MS degrees in Management and Accounting, as well as an online MS degree in Business Analytics.

Required Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or closely related field is required. A PhD is preferred. • Prior professional experience in HRM is required • A strong record of high-quality teaching • A strong potential to produce impactful research • A strong potential to contribute to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the
