| We invite one or two applications for assistant professor appointments. The successful candidate will carry out experimental study of quantum physics with a focus on optical systems. Examples research topics include Spontaneous Parametric Down-Conversion, linear & nonlinear Optics, and related quantum problem.
Applicants should have substantial experience with experiments in areas that have equipped them to learn the relevant physics quickly. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. While the nominal start date for these positions is September 1st 2021, it may be possible to accommodate earlier or later starts. A competitive annual salary commensurate with experience and traveling stipend will be offered. The initial appointment will be four years, and renewable afterward subject to funding availability and mutual agreement.
