The LHCPHENO Group (https://lhcpheno.ific.uv-csic.es) at Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC), a joint research centre of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, invites applications for a
POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS
in the field of particle physics phenomenology at colliders: LHC, Linear Collider and flavour factories. The senior members of the group are Antonio Pich, Francisco Campanario, Leandro Cieri, Martín González Alonso, Jorge Portolés, Germán Rodrigo, Ignacio Rosell, Pedro Ruiz Femenía, and José Zurita, together with several postdoctoral researchers and doctoral candidates.
The position is expected to be filled in the fall 2021, later appointments are also welcome.
The research topics of the group cover a wide variety of topics in Theoretical Particle Physics including phenomenology of the Higgs boson and multiscalar models, perturbative and non-perturbative methods in quantum field theories, strong interactions, flavour physics, effective field theories, top quark physics, electroweak symmetry breaking in the Standard Model and beyond, new physics at the electroweak and GUT scales, low-energy tests of the SM, neutrino physics and quantum algorithms. IFIC also includes many experts covering other areas of particle physics, as well as several strong experimental groups. Close collaboration exists with the local experimental groups at the LHC, ILC, and flavour factories, and with other experimental groups worldwide.
Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, including list of publications and a brief statement of future research interests, and arrange to have two letters of recommendation.
