As part of the university's comprehensive vaccination program, all
Cornell employees are required to have and provide proof of an FDA-or
WHO-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine and booster or have
obtained a university-approved disability/medical or religious
exemption, regardless of their role and work location.
New hires are required to provide documentation showing full

will be delayed. It is possible in some cases that an offer of
employment may be withdrawn.

This prize fellowship will provide an outstanding theoretical physicist the opportunity to work with theorists and experimentalists in Cornell's Physics department. Our group has broad interests in hard and soft condensed matter physics, including: cold atom physics, biophysics, statistical physics, hydrodynamics, electronic structure theory, materials science, strongly correlated electrons, quantum information, machine learning, computational physics and superconductivity. We actively encourage applications from diverse and historically underrepresented candidates. Please submit a CV, publication list, and a 1-3 page research statement to Academic Jobs Online. Applicants should arrange to have three letters of reference uploaded to their application, one of which should be from the candidate's PhD adviser. Application review begins September 24th, 2021 and will continue until the position is filled. We continue to accept new applications. This position is supported in part by the Hans Bethe Postdoctoral Fellowship, the John Wilkins Postdoctoral Fellowship, and by the Kavli Institute at Cornell.
