The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for an ECE Distinguished Educator-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellowship position beginning September 1, 2021. Qualifications required of all applicants include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, demonstrated teaching or teaching assistant experience in relevant course(s), and a proven publication record and ability to work independently.

Educator-Scholars are given an opportunity to combine a traditional research experience with teaching development skills. As such, they are expected to conduct research with at least one faculty member in the department, and also to teach one course per semester in a software-related course from our curriculum, for example:

• Introduction to Software Engineering • Software Design • Advanced Data Structures.

The position runs for 1-2 academic years, subject to performance.

Applicants must provide a letter of support from a faculty member (with a primary appointment in the Boston University ECE department) with whom they may collaborate, a current CV, and relevant courses that they prefer to teach to the appropriate link below.
