An associate in research position is open in a Duke biology lab. Requirements include at least a BS/BA in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, or related field; good organizational skills; and a 2-year time commitment. Previous experience with common molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and RNA extraction is preferred. Candidates with knowledge in systems biology (e.g. next-gen sequencing and bioinformatics) are strongly encouraged to apply.
