The College of Education at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant level in our School Psychology Program. Our program is APA accredited and NASP approved. The program is structured according to a scientist-practitioner model of training. The program emphasizes problem-solving and data-based decision making within multi-tiered systems of service delivery. Further, it operates from an ecological approach to supporting children and families, emphasizing cultural contexts and uniquely preparing students for school psychology practice in diverse settings. Successful candidates will demonstrate a primary focus on school-based mental health in their research and teaching accomplishments. The candidate will contribute to an interdisciplinary, college-wide certificate program focused on social, emotional, and behavioral wellness (information about the certificate is available at https://ed.lehigh.edu/academics/certificates/social-emotional-behavioral-wellness-certificate). Successful candidates are expected to teach graduate-level courses, maintain an active research agenda, which includes securing external funding, mentoring specialist-level (Ed.S.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) students, and actively contribute to the overall mission of the program. It is also expected that the successful candidate was trained using a scientist-practitioner model.

Candidates must hold a Doctorate in School Psychology or related field (e.g., Clinical Child Psychology) from an APA-accredited graduate program. The candidate must be certification-eligible as a school psychologist in Pennsylvania. The candidate should be licensed or licensed eligible in Pennsylvania. Candidates who have or are in the process of completing supervised post-doctoral hours towards licensure are especially encouraged to apply.
