The Department of Chemistry at Boston University applications from outstanding candidates for an Assistant Professor tenure track position in the field of Synthetic Inorganic or Organometallic Chemistry, beginning July 1, 2022. Candidates with research focus in the area of metal complex synthesis broadly defined, with applications in organometallic or coordination chemistry catalysis, small molecule conversion, solar fuels, recycling, or energy/sustainability are particularly encouraged to apply. Strong candidates will have at least one year of postdoctoral research experience.

Undergraduate teaching responsibilities will be in the areas of inorganic and general chemistry, with the opportunity to develop graduate courses in the candidate’s area(s) of expertise.
