Position is expected to be for approximately one year with extensions contingent on funding, performance, and needs of the lab.

Research Technician II needed for oversight of lab supplies, reagent ordering, mentoring undergraduate researchers, and performing routine technical tasks/experiments to support the lab’s scientific investigations.

Must have 2 years of lab research experience and demonstrated proficiency with basic lab techniques including PCR, bacteria culture, and molecular cloning. Prior research experience with C. elegans desired but not required, publication in a research journal is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Work generally requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.
