Applications are invited for the Gordon and Betty Moore Postdoctoral Scholars in Theory of Quantum Materials at the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) beginning in Fall 2022. This postdoctoral program is part of the Moore Foundation's Emergent Phenomena in Quantum Systems initiative (EPiQS). We seek exceptional theorists who will flourish in, and contribute to, the highly interactive and collaborative research environment at Stanford. Successful applicants are welcome to collaborate with the broader theory group including Patrick Hayden, Stephen Shenker, and Douglas Stanford. The appointment includes a competitive salary and benefits, and $4,000 annually in discretionary funds to cover research and/or travel expenses. These are awards for up to three years of funding.
