The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM), Boston, Mass. seeks applications from investigators to join our team of scientists and clinicians. Academic rank will be commensurate with regional, national and international reputation and accomplishments. Candidates must have a PhD, MD or equivalent degree and the ability to undertake an independently-funded research program exploring any aspect of cancer biology.
The department is actively involved in numerous collaborative initiatives with the Boston University -Boston Medical Center - Cancer Center and encourages connectivity between basic scientists and academic board certified pathologists. Our clinical and research laboratories are in adjacent space in a single building on campus. The laboratories are modern, spacious and well equipped.
Preferred candidates will demonstrate an ability to lead an independent research program, or have strong potential for obtaining R01 or equivalent funding, as evidenced by funding history and publication record. A multi-year recruitment package is available for qualified candidates.
