Spectroscopic Imaging Lab of Quantum Matter (SIQM) Group of Tsung Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is hiring 1 or 2 postdoctoral researchers with background in Physics, and related fields.  The research group will provide successful applicants with world-class research condition, and competitive salary and welfare.  We sincerely welcome excellent researchers to join our lab!

Research direction(s)

• using low temperature scanning tunneling microscopy to perform condensed matter physics study on different types of quantum materials （unconventional superconductors, magnetic and other strongly correlated electron materials） under low-temperature and high field conditions

Eligibility

• Have obtained a PhD degree for less than 3 years’
• Have professional background in physics, chemistry and material science etc.;
• Have at least one of the below experimental skills: scanning tunneling microscopy, atomic-force microscopy, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, low temperature physics etc.;
• Experienced in using professional data-analysis software like Matlab, Origin, Python etc.;
• Have good English writing and academic communication skills;;

Salary and welfare

• Project Postdoc: Annual pre-tax salary 242k-272k RMB, contract length: 2 years (can be extended). Outstanding applicant(s) will be encouraged to apply for Tsung-Dao Lee Postdoctoral Fellow, successful applicant(s) will have annual salary of 312k RMB plus research funding of 100k RMB for 2 years.
