Lecturer Positions


The Department of Computer Science of Georgia State University (http://www.csds.gsu.edu) invites applications for multiple full time lecturer positions. Each position focuses on providing teaching and service for diverse computer science students. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in teaching Computer Science courses. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses related to Systems, Security, and Software Engineering.


Applicants are expected to have the following basic qualifications: 1) Ph.D. in computer science or closely related field and 2) ability to teach Computer Science courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to broadening participation in Computing and student mentorship. Applicants are expected to have earned PhD. degree or expected to receive their PhD. by December 2022. The anticipated start date is August 2022.


Applications should include 1) a CV, including a complete publication list, 2) a statement of teaching experience and philosophy, 3) a statement on inclusion and diversity in academia, and 4) contact information for at least three references.
