The William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) would like to announce the opening of a postdoctoral research associate in theoretical condensed matter physics. The ideal candidate will conduct cutting edge re-search in broadly defined areas of modern theoretical condensed matter physics. Collaboration with one or more of the FTPI condensed matter faculty, which currently include: Andrey Chubukov, Alex Kamenev, and Boris Shklovskii. Scientific interests of the group include a broad range of phenomena involving interacting fermions, including topological aspects, unconventional superconductivity, and non-Fermi liquid physics near a quantum critical point. 

This Research appointment is expected to start September 1, 2022 (or sooner) and will be for two years. Applications will ONLY be accepted online via the UMN Employment system.
