Description: |
The research groups of Avi Klein and Jonathan Ruhman invite applications to a Postdoctoral Fellowships in Theoretical Quantum Condensed Matter Physics The program is intended for research in the field of quantum criticality, transport in strongly correlated systems and superconductivity with an emphasis on low-density doped materials (semimetals, topological insulators, van der Waals materials) The Fellowship duration is three years, starting fall 2022. We aim for excellent candidates, who have completed a PhD in condensed matter theory with flying colors. The position is a joint appointment within the Physics departments of Bar-Ilan and Ariel Universities. Successful candidates will pursue their research within a collaboration of both research groups. Fellows will receive a stipend of 450,000 NIS and an additional 50,000 NIS for travel and personal research expenses, over three years. The Fellows will enjoy full academic freedom, and are expected to perform independent research and foster collaborations both in the home institutions and abroad.
