The Department of Statistical Science at Duke University is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to work in statistics and data science education under the direction of Professor of the Practice Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel for a start date of July 1, 2022. The successful applicant will have strong skills in teaching statistics and data science as well as strong interests in statistics and data science education and modernizing the undergraduate statistics curriculum. Applicants should be prepared to offer courses in introductory statistics and data science. Responsibilities include teaching two courses per year, contributing to development of open educational resources, and research in statistics and data science pedagogy. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a closely related field prior to the date of appointment.
