Software Solution and Enterprise Architecture

The Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University is seeking a Non-Regular Rank Adjunct Professor to teach Masters-level software engineering classes. The faculty member will teach a graduate-level Software Solution and Enterprise Architecture for students in the Master of Engineering Management program. This position is expected to be part time teaching 1-2 course sections per academic year on-campus at Duke University in Durham, N.C.

This appointment runs from January 1, 2022 to July 31, 2024.

Candidate should have relevant industry experience in software engineering, architecture, and data management. They will also have a PhD in engineering or a related field (or commensurate industry leadership experience plus a masters degree). Prior teaching experience in a university setting is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate for this role will be expected to:

Teach one or more graduate courses each year in software management and enterprise architecture

Collaborate with faculty across multiple departments in the School of Engineering

Develop and deliver world class software solution and enterprise architecture courses
