Northwestern University and Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) invite applications for a postdoctoral position with an anticipated start date in the Fall of 2022. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research in approximation algorithms and beyond-worst-case analysis of algorithms under the supervision of Konstantin Makarychev (Northwestern) and Yury Makarychev (TTIC). The position will be based at Northwestern University, but the postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to spend some time at TTIC. Additionally, the postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Institute for Data, Econometrics, Algorithms, and Learning, an NSF collaborative institute organized and run by researchers from Northwestern, the University of Chicago, and TTIC. The postdoctoral fellow will have no teaching duties.

Candidates with a strong academic record and passion for computer science research are invited to apply.
