Position is located in Ithaca, NY, within the ILR School on the campus of Cornell University, or can be based remotely. The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University has an immediate opening for an Extension Associate – Work Incentives Associate in the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability in the Extension/Outreach Division. Our Team: The Yang-Tan Institute (YTI) conducts research and provides continuing education and technical assistance on many aspects of disability in the workplace. Researchers and practitioners at YTI have helped companies, labor organizations, government agencies, schools, and communities throughout the United States and abroad to accommodate and integrate individuals with disabilities. Our team consults with business and industry, and with policy makers, educators, disability advocates, and rehabilitation practitioners. What you will do: This position works in partnership with the Program Director to expand the Income and Benefits focus area within YTI. This includes all grant and contract-sponsored initiatives in this focus area, as well as fee-for-service efforts. This will include:
Extension Associate is a full-time, academic, non-tenure track, term position with an initial appointment through June 30, 2023. The position may be re-appointed based on recommendations by the appropriate YTI Leadership and Associate Dean for Outreach, as well as available funding and work.
