We invite applications for a postdoc position at the Karlsruhe
Institute of Technology (KIT) in the field of theoretical
astroparticle physics with emphasis on neutrino physics, dark matter, axions
and related topics. The position will be placed within the
group of theoretical astroparticle physics at KIT lead by Thomas
Schwetz. A lively research environement is available at KIT, including
active groups in theoretical high energy physics (LHC phenomenology,
flavour physics, Higgs physics, QFT) as well as several groups in
experimental particle and astroparticle physics (KATRIN, XENON,
DARWIN, Pierre Auger, IceCube, CMS, Belle-2).
The position is initially offered for two years, starting in fall
2022 or earlier, and can be extended for one more year subject to a satisfactory
performance and availability of funds. An applicant should have a PhD
degree in a relevant area obtained prior to the start of the
position. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae including a
brief research statement and a publication list. They should also
arrange for two or three letters of recommendation.
Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
We aim to balance the number of female and male employees. We
therefore especially encourage women to apply for this
job. Applicants with disabilities will be preferentially considered if
equally qualified. |
