Position Description
Junior Permanent Position in Theoretical Quantum Physics at IPhT The Institut de Physique Théorique invites applications for a junior CEA permanent position in quantum condensed matter theory or/and quantum information sciences. Candidates with interest in one of the following scientific areas will be considered with the highest priority: Quantum matter, quantum and topological materials, classical and quantum simulations, quantum computing, quantum communication The Institut de Physique Théorique (IPhT) is a Research Institute of CEA and CNRS, and is part of the Université Paris-Saclay. IPhT is a multidisciplinary institute, with a strong expertise in a wide range of topics in mathematical physics, gravity, string theory, high-energy physics and particle physics, cosmology, statistical physics, condensed matter physics and quantum information. It is located in the south of Paris, in a rich scientific environment (Université Paris-Saclay, Ecole Polytechnique). More details can be found at https://www.ipht.fr/en/ .
