A salaried full-time research position with excellent benefits is available in the Baugh lab in the Department of Biology at Duke University. The Associate in Research will contribute to projects investigating natural genetic variation in starvation resistance and toxin responses in C. elegans with a focus on CRISPR genome editing, phenotypic analysis, and genomic analysis. Full-time research experience and molecular biology skills are necessary, computational skills are desirable, and experience with C. elegans or related nematodes is also a bonus. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to media and reagent preparation, molecular biology, worm culture, genetic analysis, microscopy, and microinjections.
