Postdoctoral Associate - Nightingale Ultrasonic Elasticity Imaging Lab

The Nightingale lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position that involves applied research, development, and implementation of ultrasonic elasticity imaging of skeletal muscle. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in biomedical engineering or a related field. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in imaging physics and tissue biomechanics. Experience with diagnostic ultrasound system sequencing and biomechanical tissue modeling, as well as image processing and analysis is desirable. Candidates should also have experience working with clinical study teams.

This position is available starting Feb 1, 2022, with a 1-year term and opportunity for additional annual renewal contingent on performance and funding availability.
