The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) in Worcester, MA, is seeking a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to full Professor level in the basic sciences. The appointment would be a senior tenured or junior tenure-track position. Faculty applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and a disease relevant research program in the eye field.

The UMass Chan faculty at large in 2021 was over 3,400 faculty, of which approximately 1,800 were actively employed by the institution and/or its clinical partner (UMass Memorial Health).
