The Department of Chemistry at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure line teaching position in Chemistry to begin Fall 2022. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor depending on qualifications. Interest and documented expertise in teaching both organic chemistry lecture and lab are essential. Responsibilities will include teaching lower-level organic chemistry lecture and lab courses, other courses in the chemistry curriculum as commensurate with degree and experience; performing scholarly activity; and service to the school and college.

Competitive applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related field, an outstanding record of teaching accomplishments, and be capable of achieving teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.
