The Department of Biology at Duke University invites applications for an Ecologist for a three-year, non-renewable, non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor position; these are post-doctoral teaching and research positions. Postdocs will contribute to the department’s mission by teaching two courses each semester and maintaining an active research program. Teaching and research will be supported in part through mentoring by senior faculty members and a modest annual research fund. Consideration will be given to applicants in all areas of Ecology, but the applicant must be qualified to teach our introductory course in Ecology, as well as at least one intermediate-level course in the candidate’s area of interest. Only candidates who have completed their Ph.D. at least one full month before the start date of July 1, 2022 can be considered.
