The Economics Department of Colgate University invites applications for at least one visiting professor at any rank beginning fall semester 2022. Although all fields are acceptable, candidates will receive preference if they can teach undergraduate intermediate macroeconomics, public economics, or law and economics. All candidates will likely teach our one-semester Introduction to Economics course. Teaching load is 5 courses per year. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or ABD in economics and a demonstrated ability or potential for high quality teaching. This position may have the possibility of renewal for an additional year.
