The Center for Metamaterials Research, the Department of Physics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is inviting for applications to two postdoctoral fellow positions. The research group led by Prof. Jensen Li is looking for two candidates who have experience in acoustic metamaterials or optical metasurfaces. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in related areas and have strong background in conducting experiments in the area of acoustic metamaterials and nano-photonics are encouraged to apply. The two vacancies are to work on time-varying acoustic metamaterials and to work on quantum optical metasurfaces. You will be working with a team of around 15 members and close collaboration between theorists and experimentalists in the Department of Physics.
