The research group of Prof. Quntao Zhuang at University of Southern California invites applicants for one postdoctoral position in the general area of quantum sensing, communication and information processing. The position focuses on theory but can potentially collaborate with experiments closely. The detailed topics can be, but not limited to, quantum transduction system design, quantum error correction in continuous-variable systems, variational quantum information processing in cavity-QED systems, quantum networking and entanglement-assisted sensing and communication. The applicant should have background in at least one of the following: quantum information science, quantum optics, quantum many-body systems.

This position is a full-time one-year appointment, with the option of renewal for a second year by mutual agreement. Applicants will be reviewed immediately after submission.
