Position Description
POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE-YAFFE LAB, Koch Institute (KI) for Integrative Cancer Research, to work in the area of glioblastoma treatment through DNA damage signaling, protein kinases, R-loop dynamics, and genotoxic therapeutics. The work involves a combination of CRISPR-based high-throughput screens and follow-up analysis of specific signaling pathways, DNA repair, and tumor responsiveness using human GBM organoids and mouse models of brain cancer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in cell signaling, DNA damage, cancer therapeutics, screening technologies, and/or systems biology who wishes to investigate the impact of cell signaling on cancer therapy while working with other passionate scientists in a collegial, project-driven laboratory. In addition to professional development opportunities within the lab and exposure to a breadth of scientific disciplines, will also be able to take advantage of the vibrant scientific communities of MIT and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
