Position Description: |
The University of California, Irvine anticipates making multiple offers for Postdoctoral Researcher positions in both theoretical particle physics and theoretical astrophysics beginning in September 2023. The theory group at UC Irvine has research interests in astroparticle physics, beyond the standard model physics, collider physics, cosmology, neutrino physics, quantum field theory and string phenomenology. Faculty members include Kevork Abazajian, Mu-Chun Chen, Jonathan Feng, Manoj Kaplinghat, Shirley Li, Arvind Rajaraman, Michael Ratz, Yuri Shirman, and Tim Tait. The group is complemented by large and diverse experimental particle physics and astrophysics groups; see http://theory.physics.uci.edu for additional information. The successful applicant(s) will have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent; salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
