Description:

The Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor or Professor faculty position in computational cognitive neuroscience. We welcome applications from scholars whose research interests, broadly construed, include integrating computational techniques or models with neuroimaging or neurostimulation methods to understand cognitive processes. We seek applicants who use these approaches to explore any aspect of human cognition, including memory, learning, decision-making, perception, and more. Applicants at any rank will be considered. The successful candidate will have access to our state-of-the-art neuroimaging facilities and will join a vibrant community at The Ohio State University that includes faculty in the Psychology Department and beyond, including the Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS), the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI), and the Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI).

Qualifications:

Applicants must have earned a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field expected start date (August 14, 2023). ABDs are welcome to apply. All applicants are expected to have a publication record commensurate with career stage and a fundable research program. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to graduate and undergraduate supervision and instruction.
