Walter Sinnott-Armstrong is Chauncey Stillman Professor of Practical Ethics in the Duke University Philosophy Department and Kenan Institute for Ethics. He is well-known for his work on moral psychology and neuroscience, and he is currently writing a book on moral questions surrounding Artificial Intelligence.

At this time seeking a postdoctoral associate that will help our group gather and analyze data, write code and construct websites for surveys and experiments, and write and publish papers on various aspects of moral artificial intelligence.

These jobs will require specialized skills in machine learning and website design, social science research design and implementation, and ethics.

The position is for a one-year term with renewal anticipated upon satisfactory performance. Programming skills particularly with artificial intelligence is required.
