Position Description
Seeking a talented individual with a passion about using technology to create social change to assist in the design, execution, and analysis of research produced by the Duke Polarization Lab (may use “Project Manager” as a working title). The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of project management, website management, basic knowledge of statistics and/or computer science, and coursework in the social sciences at the undergraduate level. The project manager will oversee the general administration of the lab (e.g. arranging lab meetings, assisting with public outreach to media, managing our lab’s social media presence, and assisting with fundraising and grant-reporting). Candidate must possess an undergraduate or master’s degree in the social sciences, statistics, computer sciences or related field.Please note that this position is in person at Duke University.
