Position Description: |
The Slagle group at Rice University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in condensed matter or quantum information theory. Our group is interested in numerical methods development (especially tensor networks and quantum gauge networks), quantum information and computation, and strongly correlated or topological quantum matter. Applicants sharing any of these (or similar) interests are encouraged to apply.
Postdoctoral appointments can begin in Fall 2023, but the starting date is flexible. The term of the appointment is two years. A third year may be possible if there is funding. The position will have a competitive stipend and a research/travel budget of $2k/year. The postdoc is welcome and encouraged to also collaborate with other groups at and outside of Rice University.
