Position Description
- planning research events & meetings
- scheduling & recruiting participants
- maintaining the lab website
- interviewing, training, & supervising research assistants
- assisting in managing grants & IRB protocols
- preparing stimuli & programming experimental tasks
- cleaning & analyzing data
- collaborating with other researchers on community outreach & disseminating findings
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, cognitive science, or a related discipline
- Skills in programs related to data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, Stata) and experimental design (e.g., Qualtrics, MediaLab, DirectRT)
- Experience/interest in working with diverse populations
- Skills in proactively managing teams of undergraduate research assistants working on multiple research projects
- Previous experience conducting psychological research is highly desired (ideally experience with independent research, e.g., an honor’s thesis)
- The ideal candidate would be extremely conscientious, self-motivated, and highly organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
