The College of Science and Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo is seeking a Frost Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the area of obesity prevention. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work with Dr. Alison Ventura and Dr. Suzanne Phelan who co-direct the Maternal and Child Health core within the Center for Health Research (https://healthresearch.calpoly.edu). Their research focuses on understanding whether and how early life interventions within family settings can prevent obesity and related chronic diseases and health disparities. In addition, the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will help mentor undergraduate and graduate students and will have the opportunity to teach classes by separate assignment as a part-time lecturer.
