Description
- Administering the Externship and Pro Bono Scholars Programs, including teaching and evaluating students in each program.
- Working with the Associate Dean for Experiential Education to chart the strategic direction of the Externship and Pro Bono Scholars Programs.
- Meeting with and leading informational and counseling meetings for interested students.
- Updating and maintaining Externship and Pro Bono Scholars Program course materials.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Externship and Pro Bono Scholars placement sites and site supervisors.
- Conducting the mid-semester and end-of-semester evaluation processes with students and site supervisors.
- Creating various publications, reports, and resources.
- Engaging with the regional and national law externship communities.
- JD from an accredited institution and a license to practice law in any jurisdiction, and 2-4 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong academic and/or career counseling background.
- Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication, group presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience building and/or defining a curriculum, and desire to develop appropriate curricula for externs and Pro Bono Scholars participants.
• Ability to work independently and show proven initiative in the management of programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, service, and commitment to student development.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing, and the ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students,

Pay Ranges:
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:
- Prior relevant work or industry experience.
- Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
- Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
