We seek candidates interested in experimental investigations on quantum sensors for searching new quantum fields such as axions or dark photons. Our postdoctoral fellows are for three years, with the possibility of a 2-year renewal based upon satisfactory job performance, continuing availability of funds, and ongoing operational needs, and are provided with salaries comparable to those at other prestigious institutions. We may offer a higher position, at the rank of assistant professor, for five years with the possibility of a 2-year renewal to outstanding candidates. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics/Engineering or a related field by the time the appointment begins. Relevant knowledge/skills include quantum sensors and applied engineering for experimental setups. The successful candidate will play a significant role in searching for new quantum fields, such as axions or dark photons, using quantum sensors. The position will be based at KEK with some travels to Toyota Central R&D Labs., Aichi, Japan, working with QUP PI Hideo Iizuka and other scientists at QUP, KEK, and Toyota Central R&D Labs. As a WPI research center, QUP is designed to establish an international environment where more than 30% of researchers are non-Japanese. English is the official language of QUP. QUP is
