Professor Gunther Peck in the Department of History at Duke University is searching for a short-term, associate in research to provide 125 hours of research on preparing a book manuscript for publication with the Omohundro Institute at the University of North Carolina Press. The work includes citation updating, digital research in EEBO (Early English Books Online), the Colonial State Papers (CSP), and Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECC)) and preparation of images for publication in the book. The position will require archival experience, access to digital collections, as well as familiarity with the history of race and political economy from the 17th to the 19th centuries.
