Position Description:    

JRC position in statistical physics of disordered systems at ENS Paris

In addition to a competitive salary (yearly gross salary 50 000€), the position includes an attractive travel allowance (5 000€ per year) and housing facilities (Villa Pasteur partnership).

JRC holder shall be integrated into ENS Physics Department for a two-year contract, beginning in fall 2024. JRC holder shall also participate to teaching activities within the Master ENS-ICFP.

The LabEx ENS-ICFP will select two candidates from a pool of applications associated to different topics in physics. The applicant selected from this call will participate to the selection.

Requirements

The candidates shall:

· Currently be abroad, either for their PhD or a first postdoctoral position,

· Not have obtained their PhD at ENS.

The selection process schedule is as follows:

· Closing date for selection in "Statistical Physics of disordered system": October 7, 2023.

· Interviews via videoconference of shortlisted candidates in "Statistical Physics of disordered system" before October 31, 2023.

· Results for the selection in "Statistical Physics of disordered system": October 31, 2023.

· Interview of shortlisted candidates for the JRC positions (all topics) via videoconference in November 2023.

· Results for the two positions in December 2023.
