Position Description: |
The National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) Physics Division, Taiwan, invites applications for several postdoctoral research positions in Theoretical High Energy Physics, Particle Phenomenology, Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics, and Cosmology. The positions are normally for one year and are renewable for a second and a third year, subject to satisfactory research performance and funding availability. The successful applicants will have the flexibility to work at other institutions associated with the NCTS physics division in Taiwan, in addition to the headquarter site, in order to conduct the research with the appropriate faculties. The nominal starting date is September 1, 2024, but this is negotiable. The salary will be commensurate with the applicant's research experiences, and we provide excellent nation-wide health insurance as well as economical class airfare for relocation. The position also includes moderate travel and research grants. The Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Group (TG2.3) provides NTD 100,000 per year for this purpose.
