Appointees are given the freedom to work independently or in association with Enrico Fermi Institute faculty in a research area of common interest. The appointment would be at the internal University rank of Postdoctoral Scholar, which is open only to those individuals who are less than seven years beyond attainment of the Ph.D. degree. Priority will be given to those candidates who received their Ph.D. in 2020 or later. There are no teaching responsibilities associated with this position.

One application is sufficient to be considered for all Enrico Fermi Institute postdoctoral research fellowships. Candidates will be asked to supply a cover letter, curriculum vitae, bibliography of publications and preprints, and a description of research interests to be pursued at the University. In addition, at least three letters of recommendation will be required.

Candidates submitting completed applications by November 7, 2023 will be given priority consideration. Please contact with any questions.
