One experimental postdoctoral position in the field of diamond-based quantum sensing is immediately available in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The duty is to apply optically detected magnetic resonance of solid-state defects in diamond and related materials, in combination with aotmic force microscopy or wide-field bio-imaging (depending on the specific projects), to study nano-magnetism, 2D magnets, cellular mechanics and fludics, or nano-thermometry. The team features close collaborations between material scientists and quantum physicists and between theorists and experimentalists. Applicants with relevant experience and good spirits of team work are invited to apply for the position. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The offer will be made in a two-year contract, renewable based on performance and mutual agreement. The position is open until filled.
