Position Description
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Chemistry located at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02139 invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning July 2024 or thereafter. Outstanding applicants with research interests in all areas of chemistry (broadly defined) with a particular interest in organic chemistry are encouraged to apply. Faculty duties include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Appointments are at the rank of assistant professor, but outstanding senior applicants may be considered. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field by the start of employment and must demonstrate ability to excel in teaching.
